Day 4

Another beautifully sunny day calls for more beach time. We found out that the kids place let us borrow boogie boards so we took 2 of them to use for a few hours.  You can see Ryker on one in this picture. But you can also see everyone out there having a good time playing in the waves.
Thought this was cute of these 2 love birds. Thanks to them we were all able to make this vacation possible. We each paid our own airfare and all-inclusive fees, but they covered the resort room fees with their time share and gave each family some Christmas money to help cover our expenses.
These 3 have been loving the time together. I never hear them arguing just pure joy playing all day long.
Fun making memories with my Sister in laws.
The guys wanted me to get a picture of them doing a hand stand in the ocean. So here you go. Haha. I was kinda impressed that it only took us one attempt to get the picture.
Then Mom wanted a picture of her and her 3 sons in the ocean. But it didn't go so well. They were paying so close attention to me taking the picture that they didn't notice the big wave coming in until it was too late. Luckily I got it in action. Before and After. Haha. We were all laughing about it.

10 years ago The Smith Clan came to this very resort for Christmas. And on this very beach we created a pyramid of the 6 of us. So we thought it would be fun to recreate that picture.
Now that the family has grown into 13 we thought even further that it would be fun to create an even bigger pyramid. Tayler wanted to take the picture so we let her. We were all laughing about it because Sterling just crumbled under the weight of Cy and just cried as we were taking pictures. He's so squashed that you almost miss him. But good times and good memories.
All of us together(minus Fynn and Evie). This might be a new family favorite.
After all the picture shenanigans we went onto playing. While the girls were on the beach talking the boys were out in the water again. We started to notice Tyson and Jesse helping Andrew up on the beach as Andrew is hopping on one leg saying his foot was hurting. As they got him on the beach chair I noticed some blood on the bottom of his foot. My first thought was he stepped on some glass. They wanted to get him in the shade so Dad, Jesse and Ty picked up the beach chair and carried him to the shade.

As the girls are on the side lines just giggling at the Prince Treatment Andrew was getting I had to hurry and snap a picture.
Then Andrew went on to explain how bad his foot was hurting and we started to realize that he didn't step on some glass or something sharp. He had been stung by something. We found the Medics to have them come look at it and sure enough they said he had been stung by a stingray. To treat it they put his foot in hot water. I guess this pulls the sting out.

Then next 2 hours Andrew stayed in his room with a hot towel on his foot until he was all better. Which by that point he came back to the beach to play games with all of us.

We arranged our chairs in a circle around the tiny table to play Phase10.

Dinner was delicious again and we went for walk on the beach. Again looking for Turtles.

We promised the boys they could watch a movie that night, so we let them climb into bed together, (matching jammies and all) as the adults played games, munched on snacks and ordered dessert pizzas from room service. Lots of laughs were shared with each other. Good times.
